About the Role

This position delivers prompt, friendly, courteous service to guests ensuring all orders are done accurately and in a timely manner. This position works shifts in our Cloud Bar rooftop pool bar.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of fine dining service.
Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
Put away storeroom supplies.
Reset tables as needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
Upsell and suggestive sell of both food and beverage to guests.
Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment.
Monitor environment in room (temperature, lighting, music, televisions).
Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is served only to those patrons of legal drinking age.
Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated.
Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues.

Requirements

Excellent communication & guest service skills
Must have a strong attention to detail.
Available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers and TABC certification.
Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management.
Must be able to lift, pull, push 50lbs+.
Must be able to walk, stand up to 10+ hours shift.
Working Conditions: exposure to weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, and exposure to all food and beverage options.
