About the Role
Polsinelli is seeking a Docket Specialist to join their centralized docketing team. The firm strives to create a dynamic environment where team members can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and interpret legal documents to identify and calculate critical deadlines.
- Research and interpret Federal, State, and Local rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Enter, update, and maintain deadlines and other critical dates in the Firm’s centralized docketing system.
- Perform quality-control reviews of docket entries and deadline calculations.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on docketing processes.
- Assist Docketing team members as backup and provide additional support.
- Actively interact and collaborate with team members to provide high-quality deliverables and service.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Assume additional duties and/or responsibilities, as requested.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of docketing, relevant legal support, or equivalent experience in a law firm or legal services environment is required.
- Experience with Aderant CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred.
- College degree and/or paralegal certification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
