About the Role
This role supports Brightcore's geothermal drilling business development by managing AI-driven bid-discovery platforms and other sourcing channels, monitoring for opportunities, performing initial qualification, preparing bid materials, and managing CRM and pipeline data.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of Starbridge and other bid boards, plan rooms, or sourcing platforms.
- Configure searches/alerts and maintain platform access.
- Continuously monitor platforms for solicitations containing geothermal drilling or borefield scope.
- Proactively research and surface potential drilling-only opportunities not yet publicly posted.
- Perform first-pass screening of opportunities against Brightcore's criteria.
- Flag qualifying opportunities to the Business Development Lead, Geothermal for a pursuit decision.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, addenda, and bid documents to identify scope, requirements, and key dates.
- Prepare and maintain vendor prequalification packages and bonding documentation.
- Maintain organized jurisdictional compliance records.
- Assemble qualification packages, pursuit materials, and submission documents.
- Coordinate estimating and administrative inputs across departments.
- Track submission requirements and deadlines.
- Support post-submission logistics, including compiling clarifications and coordinating interviews.
- Own day-to-day data management for all tracked opportunities across HubSpot and Monday.com.
- Ensure every identified opportunity is logged, staged, and updated in HubSpot and reflected in Monday.com.
- Maintain organized pursuit and opportunity tracking documentation.
- Provide regular reporting on bid-board coverage and pipeline volume.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in bid/proposal research, construction administration, procurement coordination, or a similar research/coordination function.
- High attention to detail and comfort with high-volume, repetitive document review.
- Self-directed and organized, with the discipline to sustain a daily/weekly monitoring cadence.
- Strong written communication skills for summarizing opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM and project-tracking tools.
- Office presence required at least three (3) days per week.
- Requires a pre-employment background check that includes prior employment verifications, a criminal history check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
