About the Role
The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking an RN/LPN to promote the physical and mental health of clients by applying nursing processes. This role is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, assisting residents in taking responsibility for their health and coordinating medical services.
Responsibilities
- Promotes the physical and mental health of clients by applying the nursing processes.
- Assists residents to assume responsibility for their own health.
- Coordinates and monitors medical services in accordance with regulatory agencies and individual client needs.
- Provides individualized care for clients by ongoing monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in client’s condition.
- Utilizes electronic medical records to provide high quality, safe client care.
Requirements
- Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Current New York State Board of Nursing license and registration in good standing.
- BLS certification (through American Heart Association).
- One (1) year of experience in nursing.
- Preferred, not required, two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting.

- $26/hr. - $34/hr. (with night shift differential)
