About the Role
Cashiers and Baristas connect with, laugh with, and uplift the lives of customers in a school environment. This role involves more than just operating a register or making beverages; it's about embodying the Genuine culture and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide Genuine quality customer service by greeting and thanking clients.
- Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
- Process guest transactions using the cash register and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained.
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with Genuine standards.
- Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning duties.
- Support team members as needed.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must be flexible and team-oriented.
- 1 year of food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
- Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Interest in and commitment to Genuine Foods’ mission.
- Must be able to work in a school environment.
