About the Role
Partner with international public-sector customers to ensure they achieve tangible value with GenAI, establishing strategy and identifying high-value applications. Design architectures using supported OpenAI technologies and approved services, collaborating with various internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clearly scoped technical implementations with international public-sector customers, building applications on supported model APIs, Codex, and other approved OpenAI technologies.
- Work with senior customer stakeholders to identify the best applications of GenAI and build a backlog for their AI roadmap.
- Accelerate customer time to value through building hands-on prototypes and/or delivering strategic guidance, often with systems integrators and implementation partners.
- Forge and manage relationships with customers' and implementation partners' leadership and stakeholders for successful application deployment and scale.
- Contribute to open-source developer and enterprise resources.
- Scale the Applied AI Engineering function through knowledge sharing, codifying best practices, and publishing notebooks.
- Validate, synthesize, and deliver high-signal feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
Requirements
- Bring substantial technical consulting or hands-on delivery experience with international public-sector or similarly regulated customers.
- Successfully led GenAI or traditional ML implementations for government agencies in collaboration with systems integrators and implementation partners.
- Understand network and cloud architecture, including on-premise deployments, with practical judgment about privacy, data residency, model-inference location, sovereign or regulated environments, identity, procurement, and customer authorization.
- Effective and polished communicator, able to translate business and technical topics to all audiences, including cross-cultural communication.
- Own problems end-to-end and willing to acquire missing knowledge.
- Humble attitude, eagerness to help colleagues, and desire to do whatever it takes for team success.
- Effective, high throughput operator capable of driving multiple concurrent projects and prioritizing ruthlessly.
- Able to work with stakeholders in the target region's business hours and travel when required.
- Existing UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is strongly preferred.
