About the Role
Accountable for the development and product management of a service or analytic product, serving as the primary point of contact for agile, cross-functional teams to define product requirements. Focuses on translating strategy into agile execution, overseeing scope, and validating work to deliver a quality product with business value. Requires a deep understanding of the product, market, business strategy, and operating model, ensuring alignment with product management leadership and stakeholder support.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to streamlining program priorities while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity.
- Manage and support prioritized work by collaborating with stakeholders to break down features into user stories.
- Act as a bridge between product and development teams, translating the product manager's vision into business and functional requirements.
- Maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog to support optimal team allocation for multiple Sprints.
- Accept stories as “Done” from the team, ensuring they meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the creation, maintenance, and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Represent the product in team or minor level governance meetings and track status for leadership.
- Collaborate with external vendors to align roadmaps and ensure delivery execution.
- Work on cross-functional teams, leveraging agile metrics to drive success.
- Contribute to the generation of a high-level release plan and continually re-prioritize tasks.
- Develop and maintain the product delivery roadmap.
- Effectively communicate product release contents and expected capabilities to stakeholders.
- Write clearly defined user stories for new product features, issues, and future enhancements.
- Define and implement improvement stories to increase program quality.
- Review, update, and sign off on test scripts for both in-track and regression testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Discipline, Information Management, or closely related field.
- 3 years experience in Product Ownership, Strategic Consulting or Design Thinking OR in Product Development & Management, Project/Program Management.
- 3 years experience working with external clients/fostering positive relationships and outcomes.
- Adheres to ethical and legal standards and behavioral expectations.
- Complies with HIPAA and data security guidelines.
- Complies with the company's Code of Business Conduct.
