About the Role
Oneida Innovations Group is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join their team. They offer a unique, customer-centric approach to cyber solutions, rooted in experience within complex, regulated environments like the casino gaming and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Reviews, plans, evaluates, and implements information security practices.
- Assists with development, implementation, and auditing of enterprise information security policies.
- Assists in development and implementation of Enterprise Disaster Recovery Plan, ensuring it is tested and updated periodically.
- Assists in the development and delivery of Security Awareness Training program.
- Interfaces with third-party auditors to provide detailed documentation for annual audits.
- Assists in the development and execution of quarterly vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Analyzes logs and resolves issues relating to unauthorized activities and access.
- Provides documentation for project tracking and management reporting.
- Works closely with networking and engineering team members to implement necessary information security changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Works closely within the Applications Group to understand information security practices, regulations, and strategies.
- Documents security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
- Ensures high-quality maintenance and administration of enterprise security monitoring systems.
Requirements
- A degree in a related discipline and/or a minimum of two years of security-related experience or an equivalent combination of academic training and business exposure.
- Strong background in systems administration and network administration, including in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite and security tools.
- Knowledge of security practices and procedures.
- Good organizational, verbal, and writing skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Flexibility and willingness to be on call 24/7.
- Ability to interface with users and act as a liaison between IT and affected areas.
- Ability to stay current with new technological and/or procedural developments and present improvement options to the Security Manager.
