About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our global Internal Communications team. This role focuses on making strategy clear, connection meaningful, and culture scalable by ensuring teams understand company direction and their role within it. The ideal candidate can transform complex topics into clear, engaging stories at scale, ideally within a fast-paced tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Own key internal communications for North America end-to-end, serving as the strategic comms lead for regional milestones, launches, leadership moments, and cultural touchpoints.
- Lead high-profile, company-wide internal communications initiatives reaching all Adyen employees globally.
- Help shape and scale Adyen's global internal communications strategy.
- Act as the internal communications partner for North America, working with regional leaders to enhance their communication and engagement strategies.
- Create content and experiences through events, comms campaigns, video, and written content to bring priorities to life.
- Implement processes, tools, and channels to foster dialogue and engagement.
- Utilize data and feedback to assess effectiveness and continuously improve internal communications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Proven experience owning a region or comparable scope and leading company-wide projects.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong talent for storytelling.
- Experience designing internal events and moments from narrative through to execution.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership without close oversight, and communicate proactively in writing.
- Comfortable flexing hours for European overlap and occasional travel.
- Experience driving projects end-to-end in fast-growing organizations.
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and complex topics.
- Curious, creative, and data-driven approach to communications.
- Experience using insights and metrics to inform decisions.
- Willingness to explore new communication methods and test new ideas.
