About the Role

Provide consultation, project management, and support services in instructional strategies, design, content creation, use of various communication modes, assessment, and technology for curriculum development in higher education.

Responsibilities

Manage instructional projects and related collegewide strategic initiatives from conception through implementation.
Consult with faculty on instructional design, strategies, and learning objectives, making recommendations for enhancing instructional materials and deliveries to ensure student success and retention.
Assist in the development of course materials, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies, and best practices.
Develop and maintain software-based learning modules for instructional or training purposes.
Design, develop, and deliver workshops and training to faculty on instructional technologies and educational best practices.
Provide ongoing faculty training and support in technology tools and educational applications.
Design and produce learning materials in various formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia.
Maintain a database of instructional design projects and related files and records.
Assist faculty with technology tools, instructional software, and effective uses of multimedia.
Research and recommend educational best practices, instructional resources, technologies, and multimedia hardware/software, addressing copyright and ADA compliance.
Facilitate curriculum development sessions, document findings, and write reports.
Conduct occupational analysis and develop job profiles in collaboration with business partners and stakeholders.
Ensure courses and projects meet accessibility standards.
Collaborate to measure the effectiveness of course design and student learning.
Oversee peer review process as needed.
