About the Role
Drive operational excellence across Mercer's pharmacy benefits practice, managing process improvements, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and new service offerings. This role involves overseeing financial evaluations, renewal strategies, business placements, benchmarking, and project tracking while fostering strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives, leveraging data to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that align departmental goals with company objectives and ensure smooth daily execution.
- Support business growth by enabling new service offerings across cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state health and pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs.
- Lead change management initiatives to adapt operations to evolving business environments.
- Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years in Rx/pharmacy operations
- BA/BS degree
- Excellent verbal and written skills for stakeholder engagement
- Compliance and risk management background
