About the Role
This position is responsible for servicing customer requirements, questions, and concerns promptly and efficiently, acting as a liaison between customers and Gerrie Electric. The incumbent will also actively promote and drive business through proactive customer calls.
Responsibilities
- Promptly address customer needs regarding sourcing, pricing, and availability of material
- Grow and maintain customer relationships
- Promote and increase business through proactive calls
- Receive, enter, and generate customer orders efficiently
- Collaborate with and support Account Managers
- Provide accurate quotations, pricing, and availability to customers
- Expedite and follow-up on orders and back orders
- Process customer credits in a timely manner
- Provide backup to Counter Sales staff as required
Requirements
- Must have a proven track record
- Must have the personality and drive to sell and succeed
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
