About the Role

This role is responsible for commercially representing GIVLAARI® and OXLUMO® in the United States, impacting the lives of AHP patients. The Business Account Executive (BAE) will drive physician and patient identification, disease awareness, and market development within their territory, reporting to the Regional Business Director.

Responsibilities

  • Drive patient identification through HCP-driven strategies, market development, and increasing brand awareness.
  • Build and execute a territory strategy and account plan, continuously assessing market opportunities.
  • Prioritize and manage time, activities, and resources to optimize access to academic and community HCPs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and office staff through planning and post-call analysis.
  • Proactively build effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and drive agreement.
  • Collaborate with commercial departments (patient services, field reimbursement) to ensure medication access and administration logistics.
  • Build individual account plans with key accounts and physicians to drive patient identification and achieve sales goals.
  • Execute speaker programs, local sponsorships, displays, and exhibits across various account types.
  • Report territory-level market dynamics, trends, prescriber opinion, and competitive activity to the RBD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in biotech, specialty pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Experience, success, and relationships in Rare Disease, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, pediatric and adult Nephrology and/or Urology are preferred.
  • Buy & Bill understanding and experience working with HUB patient services are preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of site of care identification, development, and education.
  • Strong examples of applied entrepreneurial mindset, business analytics, and data analysis required.
  • Experience supporting biologic therapy administered by designated HCPs is preferred.
  • Experience driving, leading, and delivering upon territory-level cross-functional business planning.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory environment in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Effective at managing complex individualized cases in a compliant manner.
  • Overnight travel required, including travel to Boston, congresses, and large geographical territories.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must live in the assigned territory.
