About the Role
ClearWater Express Wash and BlueWave Express Wash are seeking skilled and dependable Maintenance Technicians to support equipment and facilities across Texas car wash locations. This hands-on role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment repair, facility maintenance, and emergency service to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on commercial car wash equipment and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Repair, replace, and adjust equipment components.
- Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, sensors, valves, plumbing, and related systems.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
- Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of new equipment.
- Complete general building and facility repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, lighting, doors, fixtures, drainage, and other facility issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Track parts and supplies needed for repairs.
- Communicate equipment concerns and recurring issues to leadership.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend long-term solutions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, equipment repair, industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, automotive service, manufacturing, or a related skilled trade.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations within your assigned Texas region.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, machinery, and moving equipment while following safety procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform hands-on maintenance for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, parts, and materials as needed.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency maintenance may be required.
