About the Role
Accelerate Equinix’s growth in market share and revenue by penetrating new accounts and expanding existing ones. Protect and grow revenue in assigned accounts, drive customer satisfaction, and develop new enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts/prospects.
- Facilitate customer relationships to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunities.
- Lead Executive Briefings.
- Lead and drive a coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team and external partners.
- Collaborate with the global sales team to sell the global Equinix platform.
- Demonstrate consistent cross-region exports.
- Understand account business drivers and leverage strategic alliances and reseller partners for account penetration.
- Research and document a detailed understanding of customer business and organizational landscape.
- Develop strategic, global account plans focused on maintaining/growing accounts.
- Drive strategic, global, and multi-line of business global account plans.
- Identify customer business needs, challenges, and technical requirements to match Equinix solutions in partnership with SEs/SAs.
- Lead pitch delivery, adapting to customer needs and personas, leveraging SE/SAs where appropriate.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Equinix product set and solutions.
- Sell the full suite of Equinix offerings, including global footprint, and achieve exports.
- Leverage external partners to drive solution development in new areas/prospects.
- Proactively address high churn risk customers using internal resources and external partners.
- Facilitate customer contract renewals and negotiations to protect revenue.
- Leverage internal resources to understand customers' contractual obligations regarding notice periods and renewal terms.
- Actively monitor and maintain the status of opportunities in SFDC, following forecasting principles.
- Identify at-risk accounts and expiring contracts, and forecast churn.
- Prioritize accounts/prospects for short and long-term pursuit to achieve sales objectives.
- Provide accurate forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Opportunity Development Team to strategize lead and sales opportunity qualification.
- Pursue high-propensity prospects, fill the funnel with opportunities, pitch prospects primarily at C-level, and leverage industry contacts and partners.
- Actively prospect account base to sell the global platform and achieve exports outside of the country.
- Utilize available tools to prospect and leverage account strategy plans.
- Lead commercial offer and contract negotiations, leveraging internal resources as needed.
- Understand commercial levers and problem-solve to make initial recommendations on deal structure.
- Partner with sales leadership to present at regional deal reviews.
- Mentor Account Executives or other sales professionals.
- Lead special projects and provide guidance to the team on new products, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required.

Salary/Compensations
- 198,000 - 296,000 CAD / Annual (On-Target Earnings including base pay plus commissions)
