About the Role
Under general supervision, the building cleaner performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and ready to perform shift duties.
- Clean offices/work areas, empty trash and replace liners, clean windows/windowsills.
- Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
- Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms, ensuring facilities are sanitary and stocked.
- Maintain clean and orderly janitorial closets.
- Follow building or customer-specific health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be reliable, able to work at a fast pace, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor directions.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- The physical requirements of this position include walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repeating cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lifting up to 35 lbs.
