About the Role

This role will execute Betterment's partnerships go-to-market strategy, focusing on co-selling and referral partners for the Betterment at Work business line. You will own a partnership channel, managing acquisition, contracting, onboarding, and enablement, while collaborating with sales leadership, marketing, RevOps, legal, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and sign new channel partners in priority verticals for Betterment at Work.
  • Build joint go-to-market plans with each partner, including team mapping, referral paths, rep incentives, and success metrics.
  • Lead partner activation post-signature by coordinating onboarding, training, launch materials, and internal handoffs.
  • Drive introductions, co-selling activity, and qualified pipeline by working directly with partner leaders and frontline reps.
  • Manage partner pipeline, forecasts, and activity in Salesforce, reporting progress, risks, and results to leadership.
  • Support strategic deals by aligning pricing, approvals, and cross-functional execution with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Legal, Finance, Product, and Compliance.
  • Identify and adjust messaging, enablement, and partner focus based on channel performance.
  • Provide voice-of-partner and market feedback to inform product roadmap, positioning, and channel strategy.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, business development, or strategic alliances.
  • Experience ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, retirement, payroll/HCM, benefits, or adjacent financial services.
  • Proven success building referral and co-selling partnerships that generate qualified pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Strong commercial operator capable of owning the partnership lifecycle end to end.
  • Confident relationship builder with executive presence.
  • Ability to work effectively across partner organizations and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven and organized with strong judgment and prioritization skills.
  • Fluency in pipeline management, forecasting, and Salesforce discipline.
