About the Role
Artic Building Services Ltd is seeking a Runner to support their Air Conditioning engineers on the UCL Campus. This role is crucial for maintaining the company's professional standards and technical expertise, offering an exciting opportunity for growth within a leading M&E and Facilities Management sector company.
Responsibilities
- Dropping off and picking up parts and equipment around the UCL Campus.
- Supporting Air Conditioning engineers on site.
- Collecting parts and equipment from suppliers.
- Assisting engineers with their work under supervision during downtime.
- Fulfilling legal health and safety duties and following all guidance and instructions.
- Undertaking tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
Requirements
- Must possess a current and clean UK driver's license or a Commonwealth (NZ, Australian etc.) driver's license (valid if held for less than a year).
- Ability to develop and be part of a team.
- Capability to manage own time, work, and paperwork.
- Demonstrate a positive, 'can do, will do' attitude.
- Flexibility in approach to hours and problem-solving on site.
- Commercially astute with a drive to identify and generate additional works/sales on site.
