About the Role

This position is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to grow sales, profit, and market share for assigned products within the Established Pharmaceutical division, focusing on the Gulf and Emerging markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual marketing plans and coordinate their implementation to achieve sales, profit, and market share goals.
  • Assess competitive standing of product portfolio, manage new product launches, and identify opportunities for upgrades or discontinuation of products.
  • Perform sales and investments forecasting and budgeting, tracking on a monthly basis.
  • Use monitoring data to propose strategic planning and tactics.
  • Prepare objectives, strategies, tactics plans, and sales forecasts for responsible products.
  • Translate strategy into key implementation milestones and allocate responsibilities to cross-functional teams.
  • Orchestrate the execution of marketing plans within cross-functional teams, ensuring regular checkpoints and proactive information gathering.
  • Collaborate with the Medical team and other functions to create marketing materials, including evidence-based messages and clinical tools.
  • Design training programs to enhance the sales team's professionalism in selling focused products.
  • Ensure project timelines are met and financial results are maximized.
  • Assess the effectiveness of tactical initiatives and measure customer response.
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with plan commitments.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Conduct joint field calls with the sales team to provide assistance and gather market insights.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities and create strategies to achieve profitable market share.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement plans to build relationships with key customers and influence them.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development by aligning brand and customer goals.
  • Optimize customer synergies to develop brand/market advocates.
  • Develop multi-year marketing plans and product roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs and campaigns to drive brand growth.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
  • Forecast market and product performance, providing input for plans, updates, and new product launches.
  • Review and analyze the results of marketing campaigns.
  • Review complaints and suggestions related to assigned products.
  • Monitor product and market performance, identifying critical areas and creating programs to address them.
  • Coordinate work and lead agencies.
  • Lead effective communication with Area and Global Marketing Teams.
  • Develop, implement, and update product training for the sales force.
  • Build strong relationships with Opinion Leaders.
  • Monitor monthly sales and inventories, ensuring adequate forecasts to cover market demands and gaps.

Requirements

  • A basic degree in pharmacy, veterinary, or medical sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales/Marketing experience within the Pharma industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Marketing managing Gulf and Emerging markets.
  • Experience in marketing Consumer Healthcare products including DTC & ATL activities/campaigns.
  • Experience with initiating digital marketing activities/campaigns.
  • Strong sales/marketing track record.
  • Fluent English (proficient in verbal and written communication).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer-based programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be driven, a team player, and possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Achieve Plan sales and margin.
