About the Role
As a Powder Coat Technician, you will select, mix, and apply paints or chemicals to various surfaces using application devices like a spray gun. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-technology manufacturing environment and collaborates effectively across all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
- Prepare, match colors, and mix primers, paints, and coatings to proper consistency and viscosity.
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections or viscometers.
- Ensure efficient production and coating of components, meeting company quality and on-time performance goals.
- Perform proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Follow quality service and safety standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
