About the Role
Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join our Refurb team in Burnet. This role focuses on high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly, and troubleshooting of canisters, along with improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment utilizing mechanical skills and a safety focus.
- Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures to continually improve work processes and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and the Safety team to achieve production goals.
- Demonstrate accountability and integrity to achieve optimal results.
- Actively seek solutions to problems and share ideas with the team.
- Show interest in continuous learning and process improvement.
- Adapt to change and work under pressure while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
- Astute attention to detail required for a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment is a plus.
- Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications.
- SAP and PLC experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to attain respirator certification.
