About the Role
As a Product Designer at Ironsite, you will own the product surface across our customer-facing platform, internal labeling tools, and the field experience around our hardware. This role is crucial as the company is at an inflection point where the technology works and customers are lined up, but the user interface is the key to widespread adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own the product surface across customer-facing platform, internal labeling tools, and field experience around hardware.
- Build the core customer platform for contractors to view labor productivity, safety events, and progress.
- Create interfaces that make computer vision output trustworthy, showing confidence, uncertainty, and source footage.
- Develop internal labeling tools for the annotation team, focusing on throughput and accuracy.
- Design the field-side experience for wearable hardware, including onboarding and device interaction.
- Create data visualizations for operational reporting, such as direct vs. indirect work and crew-level trends.
- Contribute to the design system with patterns and quality standards.
- Develop new product ideas from observation to prototype to customer testing.
Requirements
- 3+ years designing software products end-to-end with a portfolio of shipped work.
- Proven work on complex, data-heavy interfaces (tables, timelines, dashboards).
- High proficiency in Figma.
- Rapid prototyping skills (Figma, Framer, Claude Code, or rough builds).
- Systems thinking ability to ship components and patterns.
- Ability to write clear specifications for engineers.
- Willingness to be on-site in SF and visit jobsites in a hard hat.
