About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced technical manager to lead a solutions architecture organization that helps Enterprise customers succeed using AWS technologies. You will hire and develop cloud-based solutions architects, coach them on cloud adoption best practices, and empower them to develop their technical and strategic advisory skills. You will partner with internal AWS teams to prioritize initiatives and align goals for maximum long-term value.

Responsibilities

Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers.
Coach Solutions Architects to conduct technical sessions to transfer deep technical skills to customers.
Formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to drive AWS adoption in the Power/Utilities, Healthcare, and Life Science industries in partnership with account management teams.
Guide and prioritize the development of whitepapers, reference architecture, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices.
Own the technical strategy to increase customer value and adoption of well-architected AWS solutions across Austrian customers.
Drive Solutions Architecture initiatives across multiple geographies.
Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements

Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles.
Speak, write, and read fluently in German and English at C1 level or above.
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers.
