About the Role

The Workplace Coordinator / Workplace Associate owns the day-to-day front desk experience of our main Austin factory, providing a friendly face to guests and team members, coordinating vendors, and helping to maintain a strong culture. This high-visibility, high-trust role serves as the first point of contact for guests, onboarding employees, and ensures the factory environment remains welcoming and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Own the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, candidates, vendors, and other guests.
  • Coordinate onsite visits, notify interview panels of interviewer arrivals, and ensure all guests are welcomed and follow sign-in procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the reception area, conference rooms, and shared spaces.
  • Support employee onboarding sessions, workplace events, and other daily activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Workplace team, IT, Security, and HR to address various needs.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an office, workplace operations, or front desk role.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable communication style with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and take initiative.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace, Jira, and other workplace tools.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to support business needs, including partial second-shift coverage at the factory.
