About the Role
Armoured One, LLC is recruiting for a Staff Accountant to support their glass department. This role will assist with day-to-day transactions and month-end closing, focusing on accounting, finance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze the department budget with the departments
- Determination of prevailing wages for accurate certified Payroll
- Assist with sales & use tax filings
- Accounts Payable reconciliation
- Support month end closing as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferably in construction or contracting
- Strong knowledge of Prevailing wage regulations, financial reporting and accrual accounting practices
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- High level of integrity
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Clear understanding of data privacy standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (Rootstock, QuickBooks, com) preferred
- Employment subject to pre-employment background screening
