About the Role
Tenstorrent is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management to build and lead the operating infrastructure for bringing products to market, scaling them globally, and supporting them throughout their lifecycle. This builder role requires establishing clear ownership, scalable processes, and operating mechanisms for a rapidly growing hardware business, with high exposure to CEO-level decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional processes and own Supply Chain deliverables for global product certification and market readiness.
- Own and mature the company’s S&OP process by connecting customer demand, Sales forecasts, supply, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.
- Build and own the end-to-end global RMA and customer operations model within Supply Chain.
- Establish the processes, systems, KPIs, dashboards, governance, and operating mechanisms required to scale.
- Lead cross-functional execution with Sales, Product, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, test labs, regulatory bodies, and customer teams.
- Gain broad exposure to the full operating model of a rapidly growing hardware and semiconductor business.
- Build expertise in integrating Supply Chain-owned certification deliverables, S&OP, RMA, and customer operations.
- Develop the leadership and operating mechanisms required to turn cross-functional complexity into clear ownership, timely decisions, and measurable execution.
- See directly how operational decisions influence product launch timing, customer commitments, product quality, inventory, revenue, and the company’s ability to scale globally.
- Create the foundation for a supply chain management organization that grows with Tenstorrent’s products, markets, customers, and operational complexity.
Requirements
- A builder comfortable entering an environment where processes and ownership are not fully defined, then turning ambiguity into a clear operating model and an executable plan.
- An experienced hardware and supply chain operator who understands how Engineering, Product, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Legal, and customer teams connect across the product lifecycle.
- A cross-functional leader who can align senior stakeholders, establish decision rights, and drive accountability without waiting for someone else to define ownership.
- A data-driven and analytically rigorous decision-maker who can make sound judgments with incomplete information and maintain urgency through execution.
- A people leader who develops strong teams, builds subject matter expertise, and creates a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is a requirement.
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology is contingent upon citizenship/permanent residency status or ability to obtain prior license approval.
