About the Role
As the Intern – Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of complex digital electronic systems for NAI products. You will gain practical experience with FPGA design, digital hardware, simulation, circuit testing, and hardware/software integration. This Internship is for Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of complex digital systems using FPGAs, digital hardware, and embedded software.
- Assist with schematic entry, VHDL test benches, FPGA simulation, and hardware/software integration.
- Support circuit testing and basic debugging under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Participate in project reviews and technical discussions involving design requirements and tradeoffs.
- Document engineering activities and complete assigned design-support tasks in accordance with project requirements.
Requirements
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status.
- Some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.
