About the Role
As the Intern – Test Engineer, you will support the testing, integration, and troubleshooting of NAI electronic products and systems. You will gain practical experience with circuit analysis, test equipment, programming, and production-support activities. This Internship is for Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and improving test programs used to verify functional operation of NAI products.
- Test and debug products at the component and system level using circuit-analysis techniques.
- Implement test procedures and operate industry-standard electronic test equipment.
- Collaborate with Production personnel to diagnose and support repair of failed items.
- Document test results and communicate findings to Engineering.
- Support continuous improvement of testing methods, processes, and product reliability.
Requirements
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status.
- Some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.
Skills
- Working knowledge of electronic circuits, component data sheets, and specifications.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, or serial interfaces.
- Exposure to Linux environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
