About the Role
The LPN will work as a member of the primary health care support team, providing quality medical aid to patients under the guidance of the Practice Manager. The role requires adherence to AJHC standards and policies, performing duties within State Licensing Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Jordan Health patients receive high quality, consistent, competent, patient-centered care.
- Manage patient flow to clinicians and service staff based on appointment arrangements to serve the optimal number of patients.
- Act as a strong team player within the Jordan team.
- Ensure Jordan Health is in full compliance with all requirements related to the provision of care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an Accredited LPN Program.
- Current NYS LPN License without any negative actions.
- Certification to administer medications.
- Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association.
- Infection Control Certificate.
Skills
- Ability to use the nursing process.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Interviewing techniques for data gathering from patients/families.
- Strong communication and inter-professional skills.
- Problem solving abilities and clinical judgement.
- Bilingual or multilingual status may be required.
