About the Role
To assist Skilled Trades employees in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre Complex.
Responsibilities
- Perform bathroom inspections, sump pump pit inspections, and plunger functions.
- Clean electrical and mechanical closets.
- Perform breaker resets and safety activities, including ladder use.
- Grease equipment, inspect equipment for belts and leaks, and replace filters.
- Assist all trades in responding to and completing daily business needs.
- Conduct general inspections.
- Respond to and complete relevant work orders.
- Assist operations staff during emergencies.
- Escort contractors and consultants as required.
- Liaise with operations staff and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Ability to work from ladders, swing stage, and skyjack.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to liaise with tenants.
- Ability to work in electrical, plumbing, and millwright support functions.
- Must be a team player.
- Possess basic knowledge of tools.
- Mechanically motivated.
- Ability to work rotational shifts (day, evening, and night) as required.
