About the Role

Farm Credit East is seeking to expand its lending and credit teams to support customer relationships. This role focuses on building trusted relationships, making a meaningful impact, and supporting the future of agriculture through a consultative lending approach. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day customer relationships within assigned customer segments.
  • Proactively manage portfolios by analyzing industry trends, market data, and customer knowledge.
  • Serve as the lead for customer-facing activities, coordinating with support teams.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive customer view in the core application.
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve cross-selling results and enhance customer experience.
  • Provide functional guidance to credit analysts and other roles to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor borrowers to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, covenants, and credit quality.
  • Meet with customers to review financials, propose loan structures, and discuss objectives.
  • Achieve growth targets through business development activities.
  • Identify and vet traditional and non-traditional credit opportunities.
  • Prioritize high-value interactions with customers.
  • Promote the FCE brand within the region.
  • Build and nurture Centers of Influence to generate referrals.
  • Utilize customer insights to drive cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop expertise within Ag segments to serve as a Trusted Advisor.
  • Adopt and utilize new processes, procedures, and digital tools to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, finance, and credit administration is preferred.
  • Strong marketing and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be team-oriented.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Salary/Compensations

  • $65,000 - $130,000
