About the Role

Ripple is seeking a highly skilled Privacy Senior Manager to manage and scale the Global Privacy Program. This role involves driving privacy initiatives and elevating operational standards globally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day global privacy operations, including processing data subject requests, improving processes, updating inventory, and data mapping.
  • Lead privacy impact assessments.
  • Support the development and operationalization of the global program by updating policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about global privacy legislation and implement new requirements.
  • Develop and conduct privacy training.
  • Maintain program metrics to identify risks and trends.
  • Support and maintain privacy tools.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and program materials for various stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support to the Regulatory Compliance team on licensing, operational resilience, and outsourcing matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 6-8+ years of privacy program management experience.
  • Experience in the financial technology or crypto industry is preferred.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing privacy related contract terms.
  • Experience supporting global privacy initiatives, including understanding of US state privacy laws, EU GDPR, UK data protection regulations, and other international privacy regimes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong communication (presentation, writing, speaking) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor content to specific audiences and break down complex requirements.
  • Commercially-minded team player who embraces uncertainty and excels at solving complex privacy issues within the financial services sector.
  • Comfortable completing tasks independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Privacy certification.
