About the Role
As a Bartender at St Pancras, you are responsible for delivering a five-star beverage service. Your personality and professionalism are key to creating memorable guest experiences. Product knowledge, menu knowledge, and experience are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a five-star beverage service.
- Personalize every guest interaction by taking ownership and listening for cues.
- Fulfill guest requests by engaging with colleagues and departments, or by finding alternatives.
- Resolve issues by taking ownership and seeking assistance when necessary.
- Deliver and support hotel and brand service standards.
- Attend and participate in all required training sessions, including shift briefings and menu tastings.
- Operate within Marriott International's policies and procedures.
- Handle cash, key, or card transactions as required.
- Maintain knowledge of product, menu, operations, food hygiene, and service standards.
- Understand overall hotel operations and your role in the guest experience.
- Proactively learn new bar trends, skills, and beverage items.
- Ensure consistent service levels for all guests.
- Maintain knowledge of Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards.
- Attend monthly departmental meetings and 1:1s.
- Deliver an exceptionally high standard of five-star luxury lifestyle service.
- Maintain positive, supportive, and on-brand attitude, grooming, body language, and tone.
- Carry out other duties as required to ensure proper hotel operation and guest experience.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Product knowledge, menu knowledge and experience are essential.
- L2 Food Hygiene is preferred and should be worked towards if not already certified.
- Attendance at Monthly departmental meetings and 1:1’s is essential.
