About the Role

This role is responsible for managing inventory, purchasing activities, planning, forecasting, and meeting the overall supply demands for Kiss Group. The Purchasing Specialist supports the procurement process by researching and sourcing goods and services, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely receipt of items while adhering to budget constraints and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Review and determine required inventory and release purchase orders.
  • Manage optimal inventory level in all different plants.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Effectively monitor and control purchase orders and update delivery schedules to related teams.
  • Work with the supply chain manager to maintain inventory levels and materials.
  • Effectively communicate with sales to ensure all orders are fulfilled.
  • Compare and analyze price, quality, availability, and terms and conditions of suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Evaluate the quality of products and suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers continuously meet or exceed company expectations and needs.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers.
  • Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and improve deals for the company.
  • Understanding of purchase order software platforms and MRP systems.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Math skills to ensure all calculations are correct and avoid unforeseen losses for the company.
  • IT skills to troubleshoot essential computer programs.
