About the Role
ACCIONA is seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to provide hands-on HSE support to the Central-West Orana team. This role involves embedding safe work practices and supporting the team on a large-scale construction site.
Responsibilities
- Communicating HSE requirements on site.
- Assisting in monitoring day to day site activities to ensure safety compliance.
- Reporting any key issues to the site Safety Manager.
- Assisting incident investigations and report to appropriate personnel.
- Assisting in site consultation, such as toolbox talks and daily pre-start briefings.
- Participating in WHS audits.
- Leading by example by promoting a positive work health and safety culture.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally including renewable energy projects and high-risk workplaces.
- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, as a minimum.
- Safety Lead Auditor qualification (desirable).
