About the Role

As the Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive prompt, professional, and knowledgeable support. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding service by assisting customers with inquiries, processing orders, providing product information, and resolving customer concerns to provide solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Provide customers with information about our products, services, and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Assist customers with order placements, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Schedule deliveries and pickups with customers.
  • Arrange freight with pre-approved suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and improve services.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide informed support to customers.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing customer experience.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance customer service skills.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of customer service or related experience required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
