About the Role
Definity offers co-op placements that provide rewarding work and real-life experience. Your contributions, creativity, and energy will be utilized in initiatives supporting strategic goals within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating summaries and recommendations for new national strategic placement opportunities to brief underwriting and pricing teams.
- Document standard operating procedures for new and existing accounts.
- Develop presentation skills by preparing business updates on National Strategic Placements operations.
- Build relationships across the enterprise and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
- Establish cooperative broker partnerships to identify future opportunities.
Requirements
- Excellent ability to multi-task and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, including gathering information, analyzing, and resolving complexities.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and Policy Administration Systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful clearance of a background check (including criminal checks and leadership references).
