About the Role
RVA’s Water discipline is looking for a student to join their team for an 8 or 12-month co-op position starting in January 2027. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team and gain experience in construction site work.
Responsibilities
- Review of work and preparation of daily/weekly reports.
- Coordination of quality assurance checks.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to address and resolve problems arising during construction.
- Monitoring of work and review of contractor payments.
- Handling of submittals and tracking deadlines.
- Other duties as appropriate for this position.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year engineer student at an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrates superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a valid G Class Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
- Must be comfortable with construction site work.
