Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and configure the Symitar system to ensure availability.
- Develop, modify, and maintain Symitar core banking applications and utility programs.
- Identify system inefficiencies and implement improvements to optimize core performance.
- Administer and support automation, optical, teller capture systems, and Symitar applications.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Symitar and other critical applications.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex application support needs.
- Identify problems and determine corrective actions, including developing custom programs.
- Collaborate with vendors to implement new software, troubleshoot issues, and support initiatives.
- Review code for quality assurance and ensure development aligns with SDLC methodologies.
- Maintain accurate technical and procedural documentation for supported systems.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior-level staff.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support system needs and project initiatives.
- Participate in required AML/BSA compliance training.
- Provide on-call support as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience with software development
- Proficiency in PowerOn and HTML/CSS3/JavaScript
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (waterfall or agile)
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, follow through, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and off-hours as needed for month-end, quarter-end, and system processing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
- Requirement to work nights, weekends, and/or off-hours, with minimal supervision.
- Good credit standing (verified prior to interview)
- Successful background check and drug screening upon offer

Salary/Compensations
- $70,000-$87,500
