About the Role
Novelis is seeking an Automation Engineer Intern to join their team in Oswego. This internship offers the opportunity to work on challenges such as ensuring automation cluster and backup strategy for data recovery.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain work procedures and troubleshooting processes for automation systems.
- Ensure equipment and process reliability, minimizing unplanned downtime, and standardizing work methodology in the automation environment.
Requirements
- Junior or Senior year student working toward a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Solid business acumen.
- High interest in becoming an Automation engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Grade point average (GPA) of >= 3.0 out of 4.0.
