About the Role

Provides Global Quality leadership to the organization, administering the Quality Management System and associated quality protocols, while supporting operations teams in achieving quality performance targets aligned with Global strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and supports the design, implementation, and deployment of CLS's Quality Management System and related processes (e.g., Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Monthly Operations Reviews, Industry Certifications).
  • Provides leadership to CLS sites to define critical Quality business processes, tools, and system applications necessary to meet Quality objectives.
  • Reviews results from various sources (Customer Scorecards, Customer & Regulatory Audits, Operational Performance, Global Customer Unit feedback) to ensure issues and action plans are communicated to stakeholders.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to sites to ensure readiness for external certifications (e.g., ISO9001:2K, ISO 13485, TL9001, ISO14001, ANSI/ESD) and monitors site performance for ongoing conformance to the CLS Quality Management System.
  • Provides training to site personnel on global processes and procedures to ensure sufficient knowledge and skills exist at the sites to independently support and maintain CLS's quality initiatives.
  • Develops, documents, deploys, and supports key Quality processes and protocols (e.g., Audit Compliance, Customer Feedback, Root Cause Corrective Action, Change Control, Complaint Management) in alignment with strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and processes, including ISO 9001/9002, ISO 13485, TL9001, and ESD Controls.
  • Excellent understanding of industry quality practices and certification requirements for various business, industry, and government quality recognition programs.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem-solve a variety of highly complex tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, train, mentor, and motivate employees from multiple sites and regions to implement quality initiatives within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal, executive, and external customers.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required.
