About the Role
We are seeking a Social Pedagogue (m/f/d) for individual case support within our project for the integration of immigrants (IAZ). Our social workers collaborate with participants, many with limited German language skills, to develop motivating perspectives and support their sustainable integration into the job market.
Responsibilities
- Intensive relationship building and case management
- Individual coaching and career orientation
- Addressing individual barriers
- Active job placement
- Consultation regarding the recognition of foreign qualifications
- Documentation and reporting
- Working in a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- University degree in Social Work / Social Pedagogy OR University degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, or Special Education OR other pedagogical degrees with at least one year of professional experience with the target group
- Teamwork skills
- Intercultural competencies
- Foreign language skills are desirable (especially Arabic, Ukrainian, or Turkish)
- German language skills at least level C1 (GER) required
- Reliability and sociability
- Communication skills, empathy, motivation skills
- Willingness to collaborate closely with employers, network partners, offices, and authorities
- Value neutrality and commitment
- Empathy and professionalism when contacting people in difficult life situations
- Class B driver's license is an advantage
