About the Role
Join a family-run nursery group with a strong reputation for warm, high-quality early years care. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within a nursery built around a thoughtfully blended curriculum, with Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired learning, three separate garden areas, and easy access to nearby green space for outdoor exploration. The business actively invests in its staff with specialised training, funding towards further qualifications, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Support Key Teachers and Senior Key Teachers in delivering daily routines, activities and care.
- Act as a role model for assistants and apprentices.
- Help train new team members in routines, safeguarding and compliance.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and compliance policies.
- Support with risk assessments and accident forms.
Requirements
- Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
- Able to provide 2 references.
- Demonstrate right to work in the UK.
