About the Role
You will work as a product designer embedded in a cross-functional team, taking ownership of feature design from problem framing through to shipping. This role allows you to develop your own design voice, forming views on the right problem to solve. You will have support from the wider design team, a design system, and clear product direction.
Responsibilities
- Design features end-to-end, from problem brief exploration to delivery with engineers.
- Contribute to user research and usability testing, translating findings into design decisions.
- Utilize AI tools, including Figma's AI features and generative prototyping, as a standard working method.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers as a full member of a squad.
- Contribute to the Medius design system by improving patterns and flagging gaps.
- Participate in design critique sessions and asynchronous reviews.
Requirements
- 2+ years of product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech.
- Solid UX and UI foundations, with experience in the research-to-spec journey.
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and auto-layout.
- A genuine interest in AI, both for designing AI-powered features and using AI as a craft tool.
- Clear communication skills to explain design decisions and receive feedback constructively.
- A portfolio demonstrating design reasoning and process.
