About the Role

This role is for a Customer Service Consultant working 36 hours per week to support branch operating hours at the Kingston branch. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing information on savings, products, and services, and offering straightforward, helpful service.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome customers in-branch and over the phone.
  • Uncover and understand customer needs through insightful questions.
  • Offer personalized solutions based on customer circumstances.
  • Proactively reach out to customers to identify needs and discuss support.
  • Ensure customer records are up-to-date and accurate using internal systems.
  • Identify and support vulnerable customers.
  • Understand and adhere to policies, standards, and controls.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of interacting with customers (in-person or over the phone).
  • Experience in a Contact Centre environment is welcome.
  • Experience in retail, food & beverage, guest services, or health/care sectors considered.
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond.
  • Ability to work well with others with a 'one-team' mindset.
  • Ability to react fast during busy periods and handle diverse customers with excellent time management.
  • Desire and ability to grow, adapt, and change according to business needs.
