About the Role
As a Principal Product Marketing Manager on the Photoshop Product Marketing team, you'll play a meaningful role in transforming Photoshop and deepening adoption in a new era of AI-powered growth. You’ll help shape how Firefly and AI come together with Photoshop to empower graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and other professional creatives. This role will lead global, customer-facing product and feature releases, as well as initiatives from awareness to engagement. Scope will span from gathering and synthesizing customer research and insights to informing the product roadmap as Photoshop transforms for the AI era, and optimizing use cases, creative, and messaging for scaled outbound marketing to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Set clear goals for product marketing releases and initiatives, aligning with Adobe's strategic goals, and communicate strategy and plans effectively to team members and collaborators.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, using data and insights to inform a comprehensive marketing strategy.
- Define and communicate an enduring and unique value proposition for how Photoshop and Firefly work together as part of the Creative Cloud portfolio.
- Translate technical capabilities into compelling, consistent messaging that resonates across channels, audiences, and Creative Cloud.
- Lead the go-to-market process for new product launches, including messaging, positioning, informing pricing, and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive measurable value, using data and analytics to optimize performance against business objectives.
- Map and analyze the customer journey to identify key touchpoints and difficulties, and develop strategies to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction.
- Present strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership to inform decision-making, acting as a key cross-functional partner to ensure seamless collaboration on marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Passion for new technologies, creative image-editing products, and the creative industry.
- Hands-on experience with Photoshop or any digital imaging tools and the GenAI landscape is preferred.
- A distinctive track record of launching technically complex products, leading cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving, matrixed environments, with a bias for action and problem solving.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - the ability to distill complex ideas into digestible content and confidently influence executives, peers, and key decision makers.
- Data-driven and insight-led approach, with genuine customer curiosity.
- Alignment with Adobe Core Values and commitment to getting results through collaboration and innovation.
