About the Role

The Municipals e-Trading team is seeking a senior quant researcher for automated electronic trading of Municipal bonds, focusing on pricing, trading, and hedging in customer and interdealer markets. This highly technical role requires coding skills, a strong analytical background, and experience in automated market making.

Responsibilities

  • Work on all aspects of electronic and automatic trading strategy, including customer, competitor, and market analysis, algorithm design and implementation, and voice trader partnership.
  • Ensure the reasoning, thought process, and investigation behind all work are well understood and agreed upon.
  • Perform quantitative data analysis, model building, and optimization of pricing and risk management for the client franchise.
  • Supervise algorithm bookrunners and continuously optimize algo hyperparameters and trading models.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory aspects of the e-trading business.

Requirements

  • Experience in automated market making in flow products is essential.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis, trading, or research, including pricing and risk management for liquid financial markets.
  • Strong computing and programming (coding) skills and experience, utilizing programming languages such as KDB/q and Python/R.
  • Algo coding skills desirable (Java or C++).
