About the Role
As an AI Engineer at Sogeti, you will contribute to building AI applications used daily by organizations. You will leverage your initial AI experience to grow in Generative AI and agentic AI, developing solutions like knowledge assistants, document processing applications, or AI agents for specific tasks alongside experienced colleagues. You will work at the intersection of data, AI, and software engineering within our Data & AI community, staying involved from initial client inquiry and prototyping through integration, production, and improvement. Learning occurs through building, seeking feedback, and sharing experiences with peers.
Responsibilities
- Translate client questions into concrete AI use cases and development tasks
- Develop GenAI solutions using LLMs, prompts, and proprietary data sources
- Build RAG and Agentic AI applications
- Test and improve responses, agent behavior, and reliability
- Integrate AI solutions via APIs into applications and processes
- Monitor, optimize, and further develop solutions post-launch
Requirements
- HBO or WO work and thinking level
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience with AI, developing or contributing to AI solutions
- Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, and software engineering
- Experience with prompt engineering within AI projects
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with Git
- Ability to write, test, document, and maintain code
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or scikit-learn
- Basic knowledge of APIs, data processing, and modern data and cloud environments
- Familiarity with MLOps and deployment
- Ability to clearly explain technical choices, contributions, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent Dutch language proficiency (C1 level) in speaking and writing
