About the Role

We are looking for pedagogical and nursing specialists to support children and adolescents whose participation in school life is restricted due to a disability. The support is tailored to the individual needs of the young people, aiming for as much support as necessary and as much independence as possible.

Responsibilities

• Accompany a young person reliably throughout the entire school day, including lessons, breaks, after-school activities, and school events.
• Support with orientation, daily structure, and work organization, fostering attention, concentration, and independence.
• Strengthen social participation by promoting communication, social interaction, and coping with stressful and conflict situations.
• Collaborate closely with parents, schools, and other professional bodies to coordinate support.
• Digitally document the support process and participate in case planning, progress reports, and professional reflection.

Requirements

• A professional qualification as a state-recognized pedagogical specialist or nursing specialist (e.g., educator, special education worker, occupational therapist, speech therapist, movement therapist, physiotherapist, or nursing professional).
• German language skills at C1 level are mandatory.
• Strong communication and relationship skills, with professional, reflective, and responsible conduct in challenging situations.
• Reliable, structured, and independent work style, with a commitment to coordinating actions with all involved parties.
• A resource-oriented, discrimination-sensitive attitude and willingness to engage in digital documentation.
• Knowledge of child protection is an advantage.
• The ability to get to know the young person personally before starting the support is essential for a good match.
