About the Role
As a Digital Experience Manager in Japan, you will optimize the customer experience across all online channels. Your responsibilities include mapping the customer journey, ensuring content consistency, leading the development of functions, visual merchandising, copywriting, and analyzing customer behavior to deliver COS Brand ID and product information effectively.
Responsibilities
- Build short-term and long-term strategies for COS Site to achieve customer acquisition and retention goals.
- Manage the overall site calendar for regular refreshes, seasonal, and promotional campaigns on both OS and EC platforms.
- Create and optimize product copy that clearly communicates campaign mechanisms, product information, and aligns with SEO purposes.
- Take agile actions based on site performance and customer behavior data to maximize conversion rates.
- Understand online customer expectations through behavior and data analysis, and plan for continuous improvement of UX/website functionality in collaboration with the IT Team.
- Translate global and local merchandising and marketing focuses into site delivery, including content and visual communication.
- Propose fresh ideas and identify opportunities to drive business by enhancing the customer site experience.
- Ensure the COS Japan e-commerce platform aligns with COS aesthetics, balancing product collections based on commerciality, branding, and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate within the E-Commerce team to establish a customer journey that drives profitable sales towards set targets.
- Drive objectives with the team to secure commercially and visually strong product placement and communication.
- Co-work with external business partners to follow up on IT development for site and visual merchandising.
- Work cross-functionally with Digital Marketing and Online Merchandising to initiate local commercial plans.
- Participate in projects related to site optimization, including navigation, shop content, and search.
- Work closely with internal and external partners/agencies to ensure timely and precise launch of online products and content.
- Attend team meetings to ensure site plans reflect seasonal opportunities and balance commercial and branding priorities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in e-commerce or digital fashion industry preferred.
- Insightful and knowledgeable in product hierarchy and customer journey.
- Excellent English and Japanese language skills, both verbal & written.
- Curious mindset in data.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of E-commerce tools (CMS, BI, GA/GA4).
- Possess a strong eye for fashion styling and visual standards, paired with a deep understanding of online consumer behavior.
- Ability to be highly organized, thrive when managing multiple deadlines simultaneously, and take pride in site execution precision.
- Enjoy analyzing customer journeys and sales data to troubleshoot and improve the digital shopping experience.
- A flexible team player who handles changing business needs with an open mind and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
- Must have the legal right to work in Japan.
